In partnership with the State of New Mexico, the New Mexico Early Childhood Development Partnership (NMECDP), is now developing an actionable 3-year Strategic Plan for early childhood in New Mexico, based on what we heard during the development of the Needs Assessment in 2019. This is the next step and we returned for more help from the community! We wanted to know if our DRAFT Goals and Objectives for the Strategic Plan reflect the needs of New Mexico. Find those materials at the links below.
We collected feedback online and in-person throughout the month of February and continue to work with a cross-departmental team from the State of New Mexico. The feedback on the DRAFT Goals and Objective is being used to build out the draft. The Pre-school Development Grant (PDG) Leadership Team includes representatives from the Office of the Governor; the Children, Youth, and Families Department; the Public Education Department; the Department of Health; and the new Early Childhood Education and Care Department.
The full Pre-school Development Grant Needs Assessment has been submitted and will be shared widely when it is approved by the Federal Government.
